Job Profile:
As a Housekeeping Manager at Arise Ethnic Village Resort, you will be responsible for ensuring that all
guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are kept clean and well-maintained. Your duties will
include managing the housekeeping team, training and developing staff, preparing schedules, and
ensuring that all standards and procedures are followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize the housekeeping department’s work schedule and assign tasks to team
    members
  • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and tidy
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure that cleaning standards are
    met
  • Train and develop new and existing staff members to meet the highest level of customer service
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective
    operations
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Handle guest complaints and ensure that they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet
    established standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Manage and control the departmental budget, ensuring that expenditures are within the
    budgeted levels.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-6 years of experience in housekeeping management in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • Knowledge of budget management and cost control techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
